Led by strong returns for shares of Chevron and Caterpillar, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is up Wednesday morning. The Dow is trading 201 points (0.6%) higher, as shares of Chevron and Caterpillar have contributed to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday rally. Chevron’s shares are up $2.32, or 2.5%, while those of Caterpillar are up $4.44 (2.3%), combining for a roughly 45-point boost for the Dow. Boeing Dow Inc. and JPMorgan Chase are also contributing significantly to the gain. A $1 move in any of the benchmark’s 30 components equates to a 6.58-point swing.
