CNBC names Nash as ME for Cramer’s Investing Club

Jay Yarow, senior vice president and executive editor for CNBC Digital, sent out the following on Wednesday:

Happy New Year everyone! I hope you’ve all been able to stay safe and healthy. I’d like to kick off the year by announcing some exciting personnel moves.

Jeff Nash

Jeff Nash will be taking on a newly created role as Managing Editor for the CNBC Investing Club with Jim Cramer. He will be responsible for driving the editorial strategy for the Club, working alongside Jim Cramer, Jeff Marks and Zev Fima to create exclusive daily content for Club members. The Investing Club is off to a terrific start with over 430,000 subscribers receiving the daily newsletter at an impressive +60% open rate and we plan to massively expand the Club this year to offer new product features our members will love.

Jeff has a keen editorial mind, a deep understanding of our company, and an unshakable determination to deliver on our mission as the best in business news. Under Jeff’s leadership, CNBC Digital experienced triple-digit percentage audience growth and reached record highs across key traffic sources, including search, social and partnerships. I can’t think of anyone better to help steer the creation of the Investing Club alongside Jim, Jeff and Zev, as well as Regina Gilgan, Margaret de Luna and our DTC group.

I want to thank John Melloy for taking on the added responsibility of editing the Investing Club newsletter since it debuted in October. The launch would not have gone as smoothly as it did without John’s leadership. With Jeff now managing all editorial initiatives for the Investing Club, John will bring his focus back to growing CNBC Pro and guiding CNBC.com’s overall markets coverage.

Kamelia Angelova

I’m also pleased to announce that in addition to her current duties, Kamelia Angelova will assume Jeff’s responsibilities and serve as Executive Producer for CNBC Digital Video and Audience Growth. Over the last four years, she has partnered closely with Jeff and his team as video is a key component in nearly everything we do at CNBC. She has also proven herself adept at building audiences on new platforms – YouTube, for instance, has grown to become the premier destination for all things business news, more than doubling its video consumption since Kamelia started overseeing our video operations.

Join me in congratulating Jeff and Kamelia on their new roles. 2022 is going to be another huge year for CNBC Digital.
