Boeing, Goldman Sachs share gains lead Dow's 225-point jump

Shares of Boeing and Goldman Sachs are trading higher Wednesday afternoon, propelling the Dow Jones Industrial Average into positive territory. The Dow DJIA, +0.26% was most recently trading 227 points higher (0.8%), as shares of Boeing BA, +7.38% and Goldman Sachs GS, +1.68% have contributed around one third of the index’s intraday rally. Boeing’s shares are up $9.91 (8.1%) while those of Goldman Sachs are up $6.37 (2.3%), combining for a roughly 107-point boost for the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the gain include Microsoft MSFT, +1.70%, Nike NKE, +1.31%, and Salesforce Inc. CRM, +1.43%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the index results in a 6.59-point swing.
