Tesla stock was on fire in early action, soaring 9% in premarket trade and helping to lift the Nasdaq 100.

The stock did drop 8% over the last five days, though it’s up 47% over the last month.

CEO Elon Musk attended a UFC fight with President-elect Donald Trump.

Bloomberg News reported that Trump’s transition team is planning to make a federal framework for fully self-driving vehicles one of the Transportation Department’s priorities.
