Brookfield India Real Estate Trust has launched a ₹3,500-crore qualified institutional placement (QIP) issue to raise funds. In a regulatory filing, the company said the issue committee of the board of directors of Brookprop Management Services Pvt Ltd, the manager of Brookfield India REIT, approved the opening of the QIP issue on December 4.

British American Tobacco (BAT) on Thursday said it is looking to sell between 7 per cent and its entire 15.3 per cent stake in hospitality major ITC Hotels via an accelerated bookbuild process. The final number of shares sold will be determined to optimise the overall pricing outcome to BAT. “British American Tobacco p.l.c. announces that its wholly-owned subsidiaries, Tobacco Manufacturers (India), Myddleton Investment Company and Rothmans International Enterprises, intend to sell between 7 per cent and 15.3 per cent of the issued ordinary share capital in ITC Hotels to investors by way of an accelerated bookbuild process, subject to customary closing conditions,” the UK-based Group said in a release.

Tata Power Company anticipates resuming operations of its supercritical thermal plant in Mundra by December 31, 2025, it said in a release on Thursday. The power producer said it continued to undertake requisite measures to resume operations at the plant, which has been shut since July. In November, businessline had reported that the plant would resume operations by the year-end, with the company expected to sign a supplementary power purchase agreement with the Gujarat government, one of its customers.

The board of Samvardhana Motherson International Ltd has approved acquisition of the remaining 10 per cent stake of Motherson Lumen Systems South Africa Pty Ltd for ₹5.19 crore. Post-completion of the transaction, Motherson Lumen SA will become an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of SAMIL. The company had in April 2024 picked up stake in Lumen Systems.

RNIT AI Solutions Ltd has executed an agreement with the Department of Legal Metrology, Andhra Pradesh. RNIT AI Solutions has secured a new project under its e-governance portfolio, marking the company’s first engagement with the Legal Metrology Department. HCL Technologies (HCLTech) has announced a tie-up with Strategy, formerly known as MicroStrategy to jointly support the rollout of Strategy Mosaic, which is described as an artificial intelligence-powered universal semantic layer.

Lloyds Engineering Works has entered into an agreement with Italian firm Virtualabs S.r.l. to jointly develop advanced radar technologies. The collaboration will focus on applications for both defence-related uses and civilian systems such as monitoring and surveillance.

Diamond Power Infrastructure said it has received a significant order valued at ₹747.64 crore (excluding GST) from Adani Green Energy. The order will be executed from January 2026 to December 2026, it said. The order covers the supply of 2,126 km of 33 kilovolt (kV) high-voltage cables and 3,539 km of 3.3 kV medium-voltage solar cables for renewable energy projects in Khavda and Rajasthan. The purchase order has been issued on a per-kilometre rate basis with a price variation clause.

SEAMEC has finalised a new agreement with HAL Offshore for the deployment of its multi-support vessel SEAMEC Agastya, earlier known as NPP Nusantara. The vessel will join HAL Offshore’s project under the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) contract, once it completes mandatory dry-dock maintenance. The deployment period is planned for five years.

Deepak Chem Tech, wholly-owned subsidiary of Deepak Nitrite  has begun operations at its new nitric acid plant located at Nandesari, Vadodara Gujarat. The plant became operational on December 4, 2025, after a total investment of roughly Rs 515 crore.
